What's your favorite fruit?
Probably watermelon.

What's your favorite vegetable?
Corn on the cob. It is also my favorite food, period.

What's your favorite protein?
This is a hard question, because it really depends on how I'm eating it or what I'm eating it with. For example, I really like beef and fish served with minimum frills-- a nice steak, a whole or fillet of fish grilled or fried-- but while eating a plain piece of tofu is pretty much disgusting, I prefer it to meat in a lot of spicy stews because of the balance it gives to the rest of the dish. Plus you can use things like tofu and eggs in places I would never use meat, like in baking. I rotate between meat and vegetarian sources (tofu, eggs, beans/lentils, etc) of protein in my diet and that's the way I like it; too much of one thing and I think I'd get bored.

What's your favorite dish to cook?
Anything which results in a full meal in one pot/pan. This applies to most things I cook on a regular basis, so which of those I choose to make on a given night mostly comes down to what I'm in the mood for and the ingredients I have on hand.

What's your favorite dish that someone else makes for you?
Anything I like but can't or don't make myself. For example, medium-rare steak (have not gotten the hang of it getting it done to just the right temperature), deep-fried foods (I actually won't let myself learn to deep-fry because it just seems healthier to restrict it only to the occasional meal out), and fried eggs. I don't know what it is, but I SUCK at fried eggs. Also dishes like pho or tamales which are time-consuming and involve ingredients I probably would have trouble using up afterwards.
