These questions were written by lillibet.

1. How many hours of sleep do you like to get in a night?
2. How many hours of sleep can you survive on indefinitely?
3. Do you enjoy napping?
4. The average amount of time it takes a person to fall asleep is seven minutes--do you tend to need more or less time than that?
5. If you were offered a pill that would enable you to sleep only two hours out of every twenty-four and remain fully functional, but you could never sleep more than that, would you take it?

3. It's one of my favourite things to do.
4. So much more than that.
5. No; one of my favourite times of the day is nap time/sleep time with my beloved. I want it to last for as long as possible; taking that pill would negatively affect that desire of mine.

1. Over 8 in winter, less in summer.

2. Probably 5 or 6. That's my goal, too. Sleep = waste of life time.

3. NO!!!! I hate it. I am more tired after a nap than before.

4. More. It can be hours. But I've recently learned to relax better.

I am not a good napper. Once I wake up from a nap, all I think about the rest of the day is when I get to go to bed for reals! I wake up all groggy and bleh.

Thanks for posting my questions!

My answers:

1. 9 hours
2. 5 hours
3. Love it!
4. Generally less than that. If I'm still awake after 20, I usually start over with my reading-to-sleep routine.
5. It's a very tempting thought. I think it might depend on what others around me decided to do. On the other hand, perhaps I would and not tell anyone!

8. I can be functional after an all-nighter, but I prefer to consistently get 8 hrs/night or else I feel tired during the day.

3. Do you enjoy napping?
Not really. I do it out of necessity sometimes.

4. The average amount of time it takes a person to fall asleep is seven minutes--do you tend to need more or less time than that?
Unless I've worked myself to exhaustion, it takes much more time. Yay insomnia!

5. If you were offered a pill that would enable you to sleep only two hours out of every twenty-four and remain fully functional, but you could never sleep more than that, would you take it?
And I never felt tired? Without question, yes.
