Subject:Friday Five for 02.17.06
Time:08:40 pm
This week's set was suggested by pyrajane.

1. If you could go back and relive one moment or day from your life, without changing anything, what would you re-experience?

2. If you could witness a moment in history, again without changing anything, what would you want to see?

3. If you could talk to a younger version of yourself, what age would you visit and what message would you give?

4. If you could choose one moment that would be guaranteed to happen in your future, what would it be and when would it happen?

5. Pretend you left a time capsule for yourself 5, 10, 15, 20 or more years ago. You just opened it. What three things from your past are you now holding and what age were you when you buried them?

1. If you could go back and relive one moment or day from your life, without changing anything, what would you re-experience?

I'd relive the day my friend Eric and I went to the U2 concert in 2001

2. If you could witness a moment in history, again without changing anything, what would you want to see?

I'd witness the first blocks fall from the Berlin Wall

3. If you could talk to a younger version of yourself, what age would you visit and what message would you give?

How much can I say? I'd visit myself circa age 11 and give myself some advice on how to deal with the teenage years

4. If you could choose one moment that would be guaranteed to happen in your future, what would it be and when would it happen?

The birth of my first child (holding them for the first time).. hopefully within a few years

5. Pretend you left a time capsule for yourself 5, 10, 15, 20 or more years ago. You just opened it. What three things from your past are you now holding and what age were you when you buried them?

I have a Nirvana mixed tape, pixie sticks, and my journal from age 16.

1. If you could go back and relive one moment or day from your life, without changing anything, what would you re-experience? The day I spent with Pete, Peredhil and Wyvern at the Ren Fair a year and a half ago.

2. If you could witness a moment in history, again without changing anything, what would you want to see? Either the parting of the Red Sea and flight of the Jews, or the completion of the Sistine Chapel ceiling.

3. If you could talk to a younger version of yourself, what age would you visit and what message would you give? Age eleven. "They're lying. Tell someone, anyone, everyone, whatever it takes to make someone listen."

4. If you could choose one moment that would be guaranteed to happen in your future, what would it be and when would it happen? Three and a half years from now when my life becomes my own for the first time, ever.

5. Pretend you left a time capsule for yourself 5, 10, 15, 20 or more years ago. You just opened it. What three things from your past are you now holding and what age were you when you buried them? Age 14 - a copy of my uncle's funeral "program", a letter from the first person i ever trusted, a drawing from my favourite art class.

4. If you could choose one moment that would be guaranteed to happen in your future, what would it be and when would it happen?

Retirement, at forty. Oh yeah!

5. Pretend you left a time capsule for yourself 5, 10, 15, 20 or more years ago. You just opened it. What three things from your past are you now holding and what age were you when you buried them?
