Imagine you are on your deathbed. Recommend to those who remain in your life...

1) One book to read: DeTocqueville "Democracy in America" or the Bible [both are entertaining and life changing whether they match your set of beliefs or not]
2) One movie to watch: Waking the Dead
3) One food to eat: Lobster straight off a coastal Maine [USA] boat and into the kitchen.
4) One place to go: Cuba [never will you find more open, kind, and giving people or as beautiful a city as Havana]
5) One life lesson to leave behind: Ignore what others say - if you find love, you'd better hold on to with everything you've got to hold with.

*gush* When I was a kid we went to the American South a lot for vacation, so once a summer we would stop at this place that made Alligator nuggets - possibly the best fried food ever!

1) One book to read.</b> Siddhartha by Herman Hesse.
2) One movie to watch. V for Vendetta.
3) One food to eat. Fresh, locally-grown (in a place that grows it; I'm from the Midwest, so it's easy for me) corn-on-the-cob right in season, in late July or early August.
4) One place to go. Hiroshima, Japan. Sounds depressing, but I found exploring the Peace Museum and even just the city itself to be one of the most moving experiences of my life . . . and uplifting, when one considers all that has grown and changed in the wake of the destruction the city is known for.
5) One life lesson to leave behind. Try to love and embrace-- or at least intimately understand-- everything around you so that every action you take is in harmony with the rest of the world, and there will never be any hurt and regret.

I kind of feel like these are the same questions every week. How many times must we say what our favorite movie is?

Actually, I wouldn't want to watch my favorite movie? I'm dying.. why would I watch a RERUN? I'd want to watch something new.. so it wasn't the same question.
